The Transformation of the Dinobots

DINOBOTS...

As a little kid, that word sent shivers down my spine. They combined in my mind the two coolest things for a kid (robots & dinosaurs), and created something amazing. I loved them in both the show, and in the comics, but preferred their comic books personas, especially Grimlock's. Over the years, other Dinosaur themed Transformers have appeared, but none had the same appeal to me as did the G1 bad boys (except for Dinobot). They did release Grimlock in Beast Wars as a recolour of Dinobot, but having him as a Raptor didn't seem right. So, over the course of a couple weeks (maybe a break during the Christmas holidays), I will be posting Sketches, drawings and journals as I go through the process of turning the Dinobots into Beast Wars characters, with the possibility of adding to their roster. I would like some help from the Deviant community (especially those rabid Transformers guys) in the creative process (especially in regards to their bot modes). Any help will and is appreciated, and I will of course acknowledge those who helped me in this daring and challenging venture (in my mind at least).
